Fan Painting

I have been Painting certain parts of my pc White, next on my list are my fans I have 4 x SP120mm rad fans. The other fans are exhaust and have white led`s.
Now I`m not too sure the best way to go about spraying them, seen 1 you tube guide showing how to remove the fan blade but the 140mm is bigger and slightly easier to remove.(broke a spare 120mm trying his method)
The other way would be to leave them assembled and just spray them, so any advise would be help full.

thxs for in info, I checked it out but I should have said I have Corsair fans.

Shouldn't make a difference to the process. Painting fans is quite a fiddly thing, if you don't do it right (i.e. spraycan) you can unbalance the fan which will result in a lot of noise and a lot less performance. That guide is apparently the best way to paint fans because the paint is distributed very evenly across the fan.

If you do go the dying method, you cannot dye items that are darker than the dye. Like say dying a black fan white, it just doesn't work. I only know from experience

Not sure if you are still planning to paint them or have already done, but as long as you can get the fan disassembled without breaking it, I think it would be a good idea. Just remember to take your time and use a paint primer. It might also help to sand the surface a little bit to give the paint something to grip to.
