Fan Fittings For Radiator

Hey, I was recently fitting my fans (Xigmatek XLF 120mm) onto my radiator (Thermochill TA 360) and suddenly realised it's near impossible to screw them on unless I am just being an idiot which may well be the case

but the fans like every other fan have two layers so they can be fitted either way, however this makes fitting them onto the radiator and absolute nightmare as due to the size of the screws you cannot get a screwdriver too them as the screws are only long enough to fit the bottom bit of the fan fitting. So what do most people do? Get longer screws would be the most obvious choice I think or find a really thin screw driver that fits through the first hole. Any Comments?

Also does anyone know what screws I should use for fitting this radiator onto my case? (Corsair 700D). Having it set out like so: Outside - Radiator Mounted Inside - Fans pushing air out the top from the bottom of the radiator. Feel free to comment and give me some advice on this.

Thanks :-)

You best post a picture of the screws that came with the rads. They used to be selftappers on the thermochills, Im unsure what threads they use on the new ones.

The description of the screws that come with it is: "12x 6-32 Self-Tapper Fan Mounting Screw" the whole screw is around 15mm long and the actual thread itself is around 12-13mm. Though it is too small to actually screw into a fan fitting hole and just falls through (But it does screw into the radiator of course) so I was going to use the fan screws included with the fans which do screw into the fan fitting hole and radiator fitting hole.

EDIT: Pretty sure these are the screws that come with my fans: http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/p/Fan-Screws-Silver-4-Pack_209.html

Nope they are case fan screws not rad fan screws.

You need proper Thermochill radiator fan screws dude, neither of the ones you have linked too will work without mods. Email thermochill to see if they can sell you some or just google:
