Fan Controller Problem.

Hi there. as most of you guys know. most fan controllers pulsate power and im using sp120 fans for my radiators. im wondering which fan controllers would reduce 12v versus pulsating out 12v that would also look great with a 900d. thanks.

thanks for the reply. but i would like to be able to custom my modes to my needs. quiet when i dont have headphones on but i would like for the ticking to stop. sp120 fans are retarded with pulsing fan controllers.

Using my case's built in fan controller and its fine.

Plus using a fan speed reducer just makes it less hassle and temps won't really change at all.

The SP120s on a fan controller (NZXT Sentry) are annoying at the highest setting with the clicking sound, and I have them on a speed reducer as well as a controller. I wonder if the problem is solved by using PWM SP120s? They're designed for it, but I'm not sure how you'd wire the 4 pin to 3 pin adapter, but I think it'd be interesting to experiment with.

I returned my Sentry as it is a known fault with the unit with this clicking. Especially with SP120s. Funny thing is that there is no "clicking" when using their own fans.

Either way, I swapped the unit for the Lamptron CW611 and love it. Just a shame the sentry looked more natural in a 900D-

Can you post up some pics of the Lamptron in the 900D? I just ordered this case, and would like to see how it looks.

Not the best angle but you can see how it doesnt quite suit the case well. The Fan controller itself though is fantastic.
