Right! Well I've deliberately stayed away from posting here until the air had cleared a little...which it seems to be doing somewhat. However, I feel the need to air my thoughts now.
To all EPUK members I can understand how you feel regarding the integration (for want of a better word) of the EPUK forum into OC3D. No doubt you are all experiencing feelings of displacement and possibly even betrayal to some extent. But, from what I know of XMS and Kemp, it was never intended to be the demise of EPUK as you knew it, but more like a token of 'helping a brother out'.
I agree with many of the things that Hannibal stated in his previous post....it's really nice to see that someone from EPUK has made the effort to post something positive about what has transpired. Personally I would love to see EPUK benching hard here at OC3D, not as OC3D, but merely in their new home. Which again I think the move was always intended to be.
I think Kempez summed it up best:
@ maverik-sg1:
Now I'm not a Director of OC3D and subsequently not privy to the intricacies of what has happened, but I do know that Kemp and XMS are working on something mutually amicable for both parties. Regardless; I hope that many/all of EPUK's members stick around. It would be a dreadful shame to see nothing remain of EPUK, other than mere memories. Take care...

We heard EP-UK was in trouble and Phil was struggling, we offered to help him out and he accepted. We didn't want a split of the bench team, we certanly didn't want a lot of hassle, but we did want to stop the site/domain from simply going straight down the pan and having nothing to do with overclocking.

Taken and used by whom? I can vouch for XMS and Kemp that they would have had absolutely nothing to do with a deliberate invasion of privacy....more of the fact of our personal data in terms of private information (emails, msn and such like) was taken and used without consult or permission
