evga ftw3 x58

The EVGA FTW3 X58 motherboard has a rather large NB heatsink and I was trying to figure out which coolers could nicely fit on it.

I wanted to either get a v8, a v6 gt, a thermaltake frio (number1), or a hyper 212. It seems none of these will fit but I dont know. Some people tell me it should fit others tell me otherwise.

Please dont say to "google it" because I have tried that and I couldn't find anything on this.

read a review that said he used a Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme and that fit so see what its dimensions are and compare them to what ya want to use. But from the looks of it the hyper 212 will fit. the nb coolor on that mobo slants down towards the cpu socket.

I know how much everyone loves noctua (and honestly i wanted the NH c12P) but my ram is insanely tall (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...231335&cm_re=gskill_pi-_-20-231-335-_-Product) and so I cant use those coolers that go over the ram.

THe one I really want is a thermaltake frio but I dont want to spend the money on it only to know i have to go through some silly return process because it doesnt fit on my motherboard. I know it fits in my case and it wouldnt cover the ram I have but i dont know if it will fit.

I think I will buy my motherboard and heatsink from Frys just so that I can go to the store and not have to worry about the annoying shipping return process if I feel the need to return, usually Frys handles it pretty well.

Hm new thing I noticed about this board is that the cpu socket is rather high up on the motherboard. will that be a problem with a large cpu cooler. I am in the Thermaltake Armor A90 and there is a large fan on the top of the case a mere 1.5in from the top of the motherboard.
