England Climate

Hey, I'm from South Africa and in it gets really hot and my pc gets a bit louder and warm and it got me wondering:
Why don't everyone have their servers in England (correct me if im wrong)? the weather is mostly cold and its all around colder than South Africa.

What's keeping servers away from colder countries (12 months a year)?

Good idea to boost the economy, we host server farms for other companies... although it would only last so long before they realise that Iceland/Greenland are colder and cheaper.

i guess you need some severs everywhere no matter what, but then we should have all of them up in the north pole! :)

i guess condensation and overall moisture could be an issue.

but the main thing is owner ship and who owns it etc .... who pays the bill etc

LOL. Oh but yeah that was on my mind. And in Iceland i'm sure they run cpu's with stock coolers that's how cold it is?:p (England already look too cold for me)

iceland isnt that cold, doesnt get often much colder than -5°C

i spose just a little cooler than england, we get warming winds from the sea during winter which helps but also can cause it to get colder too lol...
