Man, what a life saver this thing turned out to be !
So yesterday I finished my TV build (my silver Area 51) and the cables I ordered arrived (5m HDMI and 3M power cable extension) and set it all up ready for some FO4 fun.
But Jesus H himself this game looks absolutely hideous at 1080p ! I can see why so many people were complaining now !
Any way I enabled DSR in the Nvid control panel and set it to enable all of them. Straight in at 1440p and boy what a difference ! I was also very happy that the Mars seemed to handle this res easily really (certainly a lot easier than my Fury X handles 4k).
So I would say if you have a 780 or later and still use 1080p then definitely give it a try. AMD users on 290 or later can use VSR which apparently does exactly the same thing.

but my new monitor is coming in today so I don't need it anymore
