today i was playing some music and i heared more then 4/5 popping noises coming from the sub what does these popping mean did i damaged or blowed it?

I sometimes get pops and clicks and have come to the conclusion that it is almost certainly electrical interferance from the computer's onboard sound because I haven't got a decent soundcard atm.

I can turn my system right up on Radio, AUX or CD and there is no crackling.

If your are using on board sound it might be its dead

Popping would be a hard ware fault or interferance.

it sounds ok at normal volume but when i crank up the vol it starts to crackle and make weird noises sound card is a X-Fi XtremeGamer

Does sound like you could well have knackered it. Only way to really tell tho is obviously to try it with a different sound card.

Just get an uber-bass song on the go, if it sounds naff something is deffinitly wrong, then try with onboard etc, unlucky if it is broke, I couldn't live without my sub

ahhhh now it makes sense.

Its the crappy music you are playing, your pc is crying out in pain.

Bin that chav SH*T and put some proper music on ;)

It might just be interference like people have said, but also perhaps the 'hardcore' has too fast of a beat for the sub to handle?
