but then again i dont know how dangereous liquid nitrogen is lol

Ln2 can be pricey, dry ice is insanely cheap.

Ln2 you need a dewar, which is a few hundred bucks.

I tell ya what... I wouldn't go jumping in the part of a swimming pool that liquid nitrogen had just been t0ssed!!

I know it will have got spread around the pool and been nulified but still... Na.

£20 for 10kg is the best I've found for home delivery and excellent support. Pellets, cubes or blocks are available.

It is massive fun when you realise you have too much. I'll post my car at my car club christmas meal later

Butchers use it... better than using normal ice, as it gets the meat wet.

Yeah I called the place 10 mins from me and it's £2 a KG or about £15 for 10 KGs but that is to pick it up.. They do it in pellets, blocks or slices. Gonna buy some

What can dry ice be used for?

Cooling ya CPU for some serious benchies...

Making lots of smoke, making ice bombs, booting a lump into a hot tub and having that smoke ummm keeping doner organs cold, if ya fridge breaks down keep ya food cold, can use it to carbonate drinks and keep them cold and plenty more.

it doesnt evaporate unless heated right? so if i were to buy say 100 pounds of the stuff i could keep it until i unrapped it from the insulated packaging?

It sublimates regardless of if it's covered or not... Only difference is that if it's sealed then when you open it you'll have a box full of carbon dioxide.

Obviously having it in a chiller box lowers the speed at which it sublimates.

Very often... It's not a practical means to cool your cpu on a permanent basis.
