Looks like the wait is almost over, not strictly in like with a lot of the other news posted here but i think a large portion of us are gamers that have been waiting for this for years literally!

I purchased the CE on November 7th. Looks like I will have to buy the digital download to be able to play it on release then upgrade my account when CE arrives. Have a week of vacation lined up as well.

AFAIK ActiBliz won't let you do that.

How could they stop you? You buy the digital download and play. When you get CE enter the CD key into your blizz account...done. It worked for SC2.

Yep worked previously for other releases just like that, also 1 week will disappear i imagine !

Diablo 3 is not meant to tie you over til other games come out, other games are for doing that, until Diablo 3 comes out!
