A reminder of our train CT tactics for those who had forgotten (including me)
GREEN - AKA "Back Alley" - Mainly a RIFLE position
This persons job is to stop any rushes through back alley, and also be able to pick off anybody rushing through short a (the exit opposite link). If rushed, flashes must be thrown back to hold the rush and allow the red person time to get into position.
RED - AKA "A Site" - Mainly an AWP position
This player must be prepared to help out at back alley by moving into a position further back ready to awp. Anybody running across the main trainyard must also be taken down.
ORANGE - AKA "Popdog" - Mainly a RIFLE position
This players job is to watch the ladder exit by the far train. This train is often referred to as "popdog" or sometimes "flying scotsman". Besides watcing this exit, they also have to be able to nade or shoot any terrorists in short A if needed.
BLUE - AKA "High B" - Mainly an AWP position
Main job is to watch the exit on high B walkway with an awp, and also nade/flash to stop rushes from the entrance to lower B. It is normally played high up with awp, but can be adapted to move lower in between the trains with a rifle to mix it up a bit.
YELLOW - AKA "Link" - Mainly an AWP position
Plays in the link room, watching out for any rushes through short a, and also continually watching for any rushes in lower B. This is a very important position and takes somebody who can use an awp or rifle, and also has great calling skills.
Hopefully this has reminded you of where we need to defend and some of the best spots to watch. You really need to start playing this map publically and learn it as well as you know dust2.
The final thing I have not yet finalised is where everybody will be playing.
Ideally:
Link: XMS (best awper)
High B: Tom (good awper, good with nades)
A Site: Jiffz (can use rifle/awp, can back up anywhr)
Back Alley: Dave (i can get used to the position)
Popdog: Llwyd/Kemp/Ins (easy position to learn, anybody cn come in and play it)
Let me know what you all think of this and how comfortable you would be in these positions. If you don't fancy it, we will sort soemthing out.
Cheers,
Dave
