My god..I just had to post this. Ive just spent 2 hours on the phone with this guy. One of those who says things but his knowledge database is based on incorrect data. He purchased a 8500GT from us 11 months back and it went faulty, it went back to manufacturer for repair or replace and we got it back and sent it out to him. He then phones up because he wants advice on a new motherboard. Below are "Statements" made within the conversation
"I wont run Vista 64bit because its a known fact that NO games work on it"
"Well my other system, a 1.7GHZ Celeron with 1GB of Ram and FX5200 128MB graphics card will run all the need for speed games in high res, except for Need for Speed Undercover, any idea why, as pro street was fine"
"Well the FX5200 was the top of the range card a few years back"
"The 8500GT was so sweet, because at the end of the day its the best card there is for gamers, and I'm a gamer"
"Any CPU under 3.2GHZ I'm not interested in, as 3.2GHZ was the standard a few years back"
"No programs use dual core so I think anything with more then one core is a waste of time"
Then he said
"Well i just picked up a AMD 6000 from ebay, 6GHz should do me fine"
"ASUS, what they make motherboards now?"
ARRRGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!
