Customer Service...

I have to say I've been pretty impressed.

My Killer nic stopped working for some reason, I got in contact with their support staff (live online chat), and they said it was dead. They then got me in contact with their UK distributor, and it's now about 14 days on and I have a brand spanking new card and retail box, instead of my fairly used old one.

It's nice when companies don't grovel and groan, and just help in a frienly manor.

Although I can't recommend everyone getting a Killer Nic, I have noticed some better hit reg, and the firewall is superb. If you are a mega serious gamer, I think the newer firmware/software has certainly helped, and this could be a good investment for you.

I thought of these cards as a waste if space.

I wonder why they are still in business?

It's expensive, but when you consider how often you will need to uprage it when compared to something like a gpu, it starts to look better.

Anyway, I created this thread for sharing good/bad customer service stories, so fire away :)

Scan have never argued with my RMA's and I get the goods back eventually, although they do take some time, and both the items I had to RMA were from Corsair

Amazon have by far the best returns/service department ever invented in my, and my families experience.

Asus.

Guy I know got a motherboard from Asus, turns out he had RMA'd it more than a year ago. He already forgot about it himself -.-

+1 for scan

Ebuyer have never argued either.

Biggest props go to Leadtek though, for fixing a card I bought off ebay then blew up.

-1 for Zalman

4 times I have emailed them about a clip for a cooler and they have not replied once in 3 months
