Yeah I used a different cable, still no solution.
I really have no idea.
The rig still works, i'd just learn to live with it
It never used to happen so something isn't right
until you place the HDD in another computer we will not know if the HDD itself is broken.
Is it not going to messs up the OS to put it into a different PC?
I don't have another rig to test it in so I downloaded the WD 'Data Lifeguard Diagnositic' and it passed the SMART check and quick test easily.
I think it is a Mobo issue (or my fault in the BIOS), it looks like it is expecting something that isn't there so it reboots on normal settings.
Thanks for your help KING_OF_SAND, I think I am just going to have to live with it![]()
Do you have a custom boot screen? Maybe it can't locate the image for it and hence reboots
JUMP IT!!
I just ran into a simalr issue with my SABERTOOTH. It said something that my boot image was corrupt or something like that RIGHT AFTER an overclock. I then jumped and everything is now 'a okay' if you dont have a jumper remove the battery for several minutes.
Have you done a windows restore via the disk?
via the disk?
Yea. If i remember correctly there should be something to repair windows or something.
No I haven't done that, I think it came about when I updated my BIOS when I first started overclocking. At least my HDD is fine![]()
I told you to stick with 1102![]()
