Creative T20 or T40?

I need a pair of speakers for my rig as the Technics SH760 is waaaay too big for my room. As far as I can see there really aren't many options in the 2.0 department, especially ones that fit on my desk either side of the monitor. Basically, I would just like to know if the 30 odd quid difference in price between the two options mentioned is justified or not. I am not looking after more power (I always take quality and warmth before power), but more depth and clarity. I mostly listen to rock music at a pretty low volume and will be using the on board sound card for a while. Thank you for the ideas guys.

Hi, I can't really offer you a comparison but I have been using the T20's with onboard sound for about a year and a half now and have no complains at all. A really great set of speakers.

I would recommend them.

I actually decided on a Microlab FC360 2.1 system as I listened to one in a shop and I was really impressed with the way it handled tracks that other speakers in this price range can't even dream of reproducing. Waiting for them to be delivered, I'm thinking of doing a short review on them once I have them all set up and burned in for a couple of days.
