Cpu frequency problems with DFi Infinity...

All DFi have to say is "As an official representative of DFI I can offer no comment on matters of overclocking or on a system in an OCd state. Overclocking can have unpredictable results such as this one. To run the board correctly access the MB BIOS, load the "Optimized Defaults" save and exit"

Damn, i finally managed to get a hold of my old ram (gave it away when i got this new stuff) and it works, 2500mhz @ stock v.core. Looks like ionicle has some explainin to do about what he ofloaded on me :ar: :nutkick:

Wow, u got suckered by the biggest noob on the internet. I wouldn't trust 1% of anything that comes from ionicles mouth, lol.

Go punch him in his face and demand ur money back.

I got it in a trade :D Creative zen micro, some network switches, some socket a stuff, (and my old ram) for an unlocked x800, this f****d ram and an xp-90c (i think that was it, cant quite remember)

Practiaclly all of the stuff Ioncile has gets ruined. sorry but that's the way it goes.

Sorry to hear that you were unloaded some junky ram by a person who's actually harder on gear than our Frag :p (joke Frag, put the Deagle down!). At least you've deffo got the issue nailed down now. What sort of ram you looking at to get yourself out of this awkward position?

My old generic rubbish. It sucks, and i think its even pc2700, but atleast my cpu can do 2700mhz with it, rather than 2000, which was feeling terrible. I need all the little money i have for a new mountain bike wheel.

Edit: I've managed to get a £40 for some, know its not gonna get anything really. Looks like ill have to ebay something...carefully. Make sure the seller isn't 01mulian lol
