....or should that read "another" Cosmos Top Mount 360 Rad
I know this should have been done before powder coat but it wasn't so i've had to make the best of it as its going to be on show at i33 with a whole tricked out Beast System inside so here goes.
Basically just marked the top using one of our Honey Comb Grills but due to the side bezels on the Cosmos it had to be shaved a little so they still fitted on.
So when everything was marked up just cut two small slivers off the grill and opened a 360 size hole in the top of the case.
Quick deburr with a file and test fitted the HWLabs X-Flow rad using button head screws.
The grill with be riveted into place then the rad removed and the top of the case masked and the whole lot painted matt black.
Job done and off to Beast for a system fitted :up:
Its a HWLabs X-Flow 360 going in so its easier to route hose with having barbs at either end :up:
I removed both bars from both sides before sending it to powder coat as i wanted some black highlights to contrast with the blue.
Once the case is back together there is no sign of blue from the outside of the case apart from the back of the chassis like the finished red one below.
The window also has black out film on so the sides of the case look gloss black until the lights are switched on inside :up:
Err, last update for today i promise :lol:
Basically just got the Yate loons attached and the grill sprayed matt black and mounted with black hex bolts.
btw, the blue you can see inside the grill is the blue backing to the foam tape which will be removed on the final assembly so will look much cleaner.
