Corsair Ram Version Differences With Ryzen

Type-8

So, i'm putting together a Ryzen 1600 based work build and wanting to double check RAM compatibility. The mobo will be an Asus PRIME B350M-A.

I've currently selected Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 as the RAM, because its in the official AMD ram compatibility List, and in the compatibility list for the Prime mobo on the ASUS website. Both lists say it will run at 2933mhz.

But on the ASUS list (and other lists for that matter) next to Corsair Ram it mentions a version number, and the one listed next to the CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 is v4.24.

My question is then...
Does anyone know how to check the version number when i'm ordering the ram or;
Does the version actually make a difference to whether it runs at the right speed or;
Am i reading it completely wrong and 'ver4.24' is something else entirely?

Any help would be great!

EDIT: I've contacted MSY (where i'm ordering the parts) and they've let me know that the kit is v5.39, not v4.24. Some websites have listed the slightly faster Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 v5.39 as being Samsung B-Die and able to run at full speed. Anyone know whether that would translate to the CMK16GX4M2B3000C15?

Pretty sure you'll be fine with the kit. It's not as big of an issue anymore. And besides Samsung dies apparently work the best so should be no issue. I mean with any ram you may run into issues with Ryzen. But Corsair and Gskill seem to be the most reliable
Just my 2 cents.

am confused right now, i already ordered my part and it should b shipping by tomorrow. ryzen 1600, Asus rog strix b 350f , and this corsair 3200 memory kit (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16). i already contact my seller now but not get any replay from there yet. how can i find its V5.39 or not???
