Corona CPU Benchmark Released

This bench is hinky, it always produces better scores the more you run it. Mark you should look at the Alpha4 Bench, it has better CPU recognition and memory usage.

With 1.3 my benches always run to 4:18 but at 4:16 there is a pause and a huge drop in Ray/Sec count from 2,010,000 to 1,890,000, add this to what the devs of the render say is a problem with the VFB not being refreshed as it should. They also claim on their forum that Ivy performs better than Skylake and Haswell and no one knows why..
Corona Alpha4 Living Room Bench.

The trouble with the Alpha 4 bench test though is it doesn't support multi CPU configs.

my result form the alpha version of the test.

Yeah, I've also been getting score variations today, got a 2:16 this morning despite having multiple programs (AutoCAD, Illustrator, Acrobat, Outlook) open. I'd possibly wait a few weeks till there are a few more patches.

Alpha 4 Benchmark with only one of my CPUs below.

This is on a HPE DL360 Gen9 with dual E5-2699v3, 768GB memory and a R1 pair of 300GB 10krpm 2.5" 12Gbps SAS disks.

JR23 - Intel i7 5960X @ 4.7GHz with 2666MHz Memory - Time 01:51, Ray/Sec 4,342,520

Auto Volts and the original A00 X99 XPOWER BIOS really are very good.

"Auto" volts with the overclock? So what are they actually at in CPUZ?

I honestly didn't look, I will check though.

Auto is never great on any board unless you have an absolute dog fella. My advise would be get it all dialed in tight. Vdroop was a fairly big issue with the early bioses too.

Took a few attempts for them to get that under control properly.

1.366v for 4.7 GHz, droop was 0.02v, fine for a benchmark, temps were great with the fans at 500RPM.
