Some very interesting results so far guys. very interesting.
For example look how close TTLs Sandy Bridge i7 3970K and my Skylake i7 6700K is, not bad work for Skylake given the fact that the Sandy bridge CPU has 2 more cores.
We can also see here that a lot of the i7 4790K CPUs deliver very similar performance despite being in different systems.
This bench is hinky, it always produces better scores the more you run it. Mark you should look at the Alpha4 Bench, it has better CPU recognition and memory usage.
With 1.3 my benches always run to 4:18 but at 4:16 there is a pause and a huge drop in Ray/Sec count from 2,010,000 to 1,890,000, add this to what the devs of the render say is a problem with the VFB not being refreshed as it should. They also claim on their forum that Ivy performs better than Skylake and Haswell and no one knows why..
