I was looking to use Mayhems Aurora 2 Red Coolant but looking at reviews online people are saying that it only last about max a year and even some people are saying days then it starts to gunk up ur loop and stain really bad anyone used it are any thoughts ?

Aurora coolant in general is bad for everyday use and would only really use it for shows etc. And then Red coolant is a shit for clogging up your loop so .. if you pair the them together I can only imagine you shouting and swearing when it comes to cleaning your blocks etc

You shouldnt have coolant in your loop a year from ANY brand......

All coolant will stain if it has dyes. end.

'gunk' is algae growth - if its coloured its just been dyed by.... the dyes.

A lot of the time people with gunk are to blame themselves, people moaning about staining would moan about weak colours. When I built my first WC rig I used 5x more dye than advised to get the red I wanted...

If you want a perfect world go to sleep and dream about it because unless you are INSANELY anal about procedures etc that most people couldnt give a feck about its not going to happen.

Thats just for shows.

Lol but the ahhhh....

Clear actually looks pretty sweet in some res's, teamed with a neutral white/black/chrome tube works for me. Plexi blocks and red translucent tube though is epic fail. Like most things it's all about balance and taste.

Use black tubing and coloured coolant in the res

I think it looks ok.

I have gone straight in with white coolant man love it although it can often be mistaken for so many different substances because the shade is a bit off white. It needs to be brighter for me to be happy

My main problem mate is I have 3 l of Mayhems Aurora 2 Red Coolant sitting at home waiting on my rig for 24/7 use should I use it .
