Hi,

I'm planning to buy a Asus Gtx 670 Direct CU II Top card.I have read several reviews about this card, all of them are good. But still there has been a talk that there are several issues with this card. Some people say that these cards are overclocked way too high and it may cause problems when u use it continuously in future. There are also many bad reviews in new egg.It seems that the problem is due to the Asus Gpu tweak software. Also several people recommend CU II edition.only Asus version of gtx 670 is only available in my locality.I'm pretty much confused after seeing these kind of talks. Please tell me whether i can go for the top edition card or shall i need to wait for any other versions of this card.

Thanks in advance for ur replies.

I have the non-TOP card and it's never given me any trouble. They've fixed the GPU-Tweak software too so it doesn't give red-screens anymore (check for the latest version on the website). The cards are really easy to OC too, I have my card running at 1307MHz no problem, which is faster than the TOP version, and I saved 10 bucks not buying the TOP card. If you're comfortable overclocking, save a buck and go for the DC2. Otherwise, I think the DC2T will be just fine.

Well I just got my Asus GTX670 DC2 and it's been running perfectly, quiet and cool. Iddle temp: 35-36C, Load temp: 68-72C.
GPUTweak is also working fine, no red screen or crash.
I am not sure about the faulty DC2 cooling system on the 7950, I cannot see if the card also have the same backplate as the GTX670. But this backplate may actually be there to correct this pressure problem...
Anyway I would definitly go for the GTX670 DC2, not the Top edition and I am actually waiting to get a second one for SLI.

I had problems when using gpu tweak on my 670 DCII TOP too, I switched to afterburner and it's fine, runs under 45c most of the time (gaming) and maxes out any game. It overclocks like a pro too :P
