hey guys, im at a friends right now for a lan, and my friend is having problem's with his PC. He brought it over, and it was working fine at his house,

Now, the psu plug is in, mobo is getting power cuz the light is on, and the power button is plugged into the correct spot. We tried plugging straight into the wall, powerbars, and everywhere, but still no luck. it doesnt even budge. i tried unplugging power cable, and pressing power button to drain capacitors. but nothing works.

any help would be greatly apreciated.

he has an 3500+, manchester

2gb OCZ Ram

antec smart power 500.

asus a8n-sli premium

and a asus 6800gt

i know it might be stating the obvious, but have you checked the power switch on his pc ( the one on the front), it might have a dodgy connection.

It may be a bit of a ball ache but you could try your psu on his mboard just to rule that out, if you still have no luck you will know it is the motherboard that has fried somehow :( hope not though

thanks for all the help, he just took his comp into the comp store, he will be back in 30 mins i assume, ill post and tell u guys what it was
