I see yeah, Windows versions before the Anniversary Update(Build 1609, late 2016) stopped getting patches last year and might not make it to the update stage on Ryzen without crashing, probably best to create new media to install with if you've not already as 1609 was the first Windows 10 version with Ryzen support, any drivers you install online will expect a relatively recent kernel for Windows 10 too as at this point the changes over its life have been equivalent to a new Windows version under the hood(And Microsoft have aggressively deprecated older builds).
Creating new media would probably save you a lot of time over jumping through several build updates too.
