Chasing Dreams

Hi there Gurt!
MOAR PLEASE!
Thanks :)

Haha :D I know I know. I really want to, but I'm quite limited in time and more so in budget.
I need to order the watercooling gear now, thén I can measure the acrylic to make a psu-area cover where all the parts fit under and on and above. I've got black and white acrylic already. Planning on ordering clear aswell. (will have to because I need some for the sidepanel)

The idea is to make a cover including 'a line of light', a reservoir stand with the pump underneath and a 'flying' SSD dock-thingy :) (for an SSD I cannot yet afford, but hey...) the white nzxt leds will be re-used for that... It's all ideas spooking around in my head. I just hópe it can be done in the first place and secondly that my hands are capable enough.
I've never even installed a sketch-up program of any kind so I can't show you what I mean. But that'll keep you curious ey ;p

I've saved about €270 for the rest of the watercooling and modding bits. Will need 350 à 400, so yeah, hold on to your undies and keep breathing :p

I'll wait :)
I'm not going anywhere, I have an otitis :p
Anyways, looking forward for the watercoolings when you have them moneyz :D

Hmm... What could this be then?

Sh*t just got real B-) :D

Alphacool 360mm radiator full copper 30mm thick
XSPC Raystorm cpu block
Watercool Heatkiller GPU-X³ Core LC
Alphacool HF D5 pump top
Alphacool Cape Corp Coolplex Pro 25 LT reservoir
Monsoon black chrome compression fittings (7/16"ID, 5/8"OD) together with same 90° ones.
The rest is miscellaneous stuff to make a drain point, leds etc etc

Waiting for other deliveries which will contain all that's still missing :p

Would anyone care for detailed pictures from the most important parts?

Okay. Time for moar picz!

Alphacool ST30 360mm radiator. Going in the top of the case (duh) with barbs at the right side.

Alphacool HF D5 Top. This has an inlet at both sides (so also at the side where most tops only have an outlet), excatly what I needed ^^

Alphacool (wauw, I got a lot from Alphacool it seems :p nope, not being sponsored :() 250 reservoir:

dsc05387tj.jpg

I'm putting this 'upside down', so with the three openings at the top (easier to fill and I need a centered one at the bottom.)

Beautifl magnificent wonderful Monsoon fittings in black chrome finish. They look brighter in the pics then they do in reality.

It just screams quality.

90° angled adapters. I saw a lot of people use angled adapters from ek or bitspower or something with Monsoon fittings. Kinda spoils it imo. I went Monsoon, so I'm going Monsoon ;) (no, not being sponsored by them either)

Watercool HEATKILLER gpu block. Going to leave this wrapped in plastic until I actualy mount it. (yeah, I'm very protective of my stuff :p)

Barb openings at both sides. And a pretty touchy spot.

XSPC Raystorm cpu block. Very pretty! (also leaving this wrapped up until mounting)

Took my time to sleeve today ^^ still waiting for 24pin, 6pin and 8pin cpu extensions. I now I already did my ax850 cables, but I want to go heatshrinkless :p and the extensions make it possible to give the visible cables a nicer 'flow'.

Did some fans:

Had to make this opening a litter bigger to be able to fit a sleeved cable in.

I simpley LOVE this tool. Perfect crimp, évery single time.

Put a sata-sleeve over the 4x3-pin part. Couldn't be sleeved seperately.

5mm white LED (to light the reservoir up):

Looks like I'm using a lót of wire eh? :p yeah... But most of it won't be visible anyway, it just makes life easier to have a fancontroller ;-)

It's a box :p

And inside the box...

Clear plexi! ^^ I ordered two sheets of 3mm thick, but somewhere something went a bit wrong I guess. Not that I mind, I can still use some thicker plexi very well.

White XSPC tubing! 7/16 5/8

Cooling thingies for the graphics card.

Bitspower Q-adapter (rotary) to make a drainpoint after the pump.

And some U-channel for the window.

There were also some leds and extensions.
So I started sleeving the 'heatshrinkless' way :D
It's not easy to get it right at the start. But in the end you get this 'feel' for it ^^

Sleeve goes up to here somewhere. In between the pins and the cable.

A piece of heatshrink at the edge:

Burn the edge with the heatshrink on. Cut heatshrink off and there you go:

Thanks to Luto0 for his amazing guides on sleeving! ^^
