Carbon Fibre case/mods.

Hey guys,

Looking at setting up a new PC using the main framework from an old
Thermaltake Highest Xaser III V2000A. New panels will probs be custom made from carbon fibre (front, top, both sides, left side probs have window in it)

Was looking at also getting some new backing plates for rear of case as it will look naff with aliminum ones. i saw someone on here had made some carbon blanking brackets but now cant find it! whoever you are let me know where you got then from or if you made them what fitting method you used... please lol.

It's going to eventually house my current setup with water cooling... Any suggestions on a decent water cooling kit for that case?

It's going to be a LONG project and probably get it finished sometime in summer due to time restrictions etc.

Cheers :)

about the case, i will be looking foward to see it, and about the kit, all i can say is that the only decent one i know is the swiftec one. all the others break / dont work right, and get owned by high end air coolers (no joke x.x).

try making your own WC, afterall you will have to mount it anyways if you buy the swiftech one lol.

It's going too cost you a shead load pending thickness for the carbonfiber dude! Trust me! Unless it's really thin, less than 1mm it might be cheap.

I only used it cos i had it here, and cos i can! :worship:

Indeed i mean you, found your post at work whilst bored yesterday came round to looking again at home n couldnt find it... damn goldfish memory. Did you just use a standard backing plate slide out clip + screw?

Carbon fibre isnt really the problem :). Only reason i'm having a carbon fibre case is "because i can" lol
