Were you using the same speakers when you tested it in the other computer or different speakers? Just trying to rule out that it's not a problem with your speakers.

Have you tried it in a different PCI slot just to try?
Sure sounds like the card is crapping out even though it works in the other computer.... Or there's just some kind of incompatibility between the card and motherboard.
RMA both, lol.
This is why you Creative. Still sounds like a driver issue to me and Creative is known for Driver issues.
Tried it today on the old PC and it does the same so I think it's time for a upgrade.
Any good sound cards for gaming? Not wanting to spend alot.
