Scrim - yeah way to early, at least a few months, I am in the process of setting up a clan myself, for Brit Squaddies, so it will be a few months yet anyway

It's been extermely quiet and bored in work atm so I have updated the player list on the 1st page

The thing is I'm too busy outside of work and havn't managed to install yet . I'll be looking to get it installed by the weekend and get some practice in and we'll have a game next week sometime?

Very hard game and you need a lot of time and patience to get into it! Good bit of teamwork would be handy. So whos playing this now?

My 2GB kit is on the way back now so I can't wait to get off low settings

Yeah I got very worried that it had been lost in the post and I didn't do recorded delivery for this one time :whack:

So once it's back, I'll be up for a few games of this to try and get better at it. So....

PR - is a game that takes time to get used to, if you are a BF2 Player who just plays to rack up your online scores, and tries to get as many points in a round - this game is NOT for you.

This game is for Gamers who enjoy the realism and teamwork in a game ?

I was on this map for ages last night and I could take on some insurgents by myself, but the team wasnt doing anything. The Squad leader just stayed in an APC far away (which is a spawn point anyway), wasting the spawn point that he provides. He wasn't issuing orders and all our team were pushing in, groups of 3 atmost, getting to the flag and getting wiped out forcing us to respawn on APC and start the trek again....

I asked him to provide a rally point and issue orders but they didn't listen to me and just considered me a noob

Can you remember what server you were on? If possible, try to play on servers marked 'PROS'. This stands for Project Reality Original Settings', and is usually where you will find the best gameplay and teamwork.

The high 'quality' players who use a lot of teamwork in Europe are found on the .:iGi:. server and the Thors Brigade server. There's also the Tactical Gamer (TG) sevrer.

Be warned though, that these players can come across as a little more 'elitist' in how they play and act. Listening to orders, following them and working with your squad is the order of the day here.

yeah ive been in .:iGi:. they use voip and they have

ing awesome teamwork , even to cross a road , they cover each squad mate , they give priority to squad leader but cause of spawn point, but its awseome the use of vehicles , in convoy formation use of supprressing fire and other

Thanks Gaz! I'll look out for those servers. I'm up for being a noob, playing the game properly, following orders and gaining experience in the game. But when I have no one to follow I just look like an idiot running off to get shot...

I have to admit, once you find a good Squad to get in, to see the teamwork in action its pretty mind-blowing, something I have never seen in an FPS before, hence I became part of the team

Really good to hear your getting with it all so well .......... maybe you could create your own squad on a server, and try working together, see how you get on ?

Yeah I was planning on doing this! These seems to be a decent following off this forum and as long as we get a player with some xp to play as squad leader we should do fine

UK_Force - I swear I saw your name on one of the maps when it was loading? That Al Basra one I believe? Me and wayne-o had a good blast on it yesterday and was fun being the insurgents scaring off Tanks with RPG ambushes
