I wouldn't say I'm a world cup hater, I'll definitely watch a few matches.
I do enjoy any big sporting event with a little bit of international competitiveness
All my hate is for the premier leagues lol.

Not watching football that much these days since I am fed up with them having a fly land on them, only for them to role around on the floor like they have just been hit in the face with a sledgehammer.
I have always watched football and rugby, and I am now watching rugby more because of the above because at least they don't role around after each tackle claiming to be hurt.
Plus the players in rugby when they play for England actually play for England and not, just to try and get a move to another club.
I will watch some of the England games but I won't be watching them live, I will just record and then watch them.

I always want the netherlands to lose out quite quickly so our country goes back to normal.

I was to busy watching movies while that was going on, yeah its nice we got back at spain but really, i just dont care enough.
Also helps i cant watch tv because i dont have a subscription for cable which is just the way i like it.

As I said at the start I'm not normally that interested in football, but I have put a couple of bets on myself actually - it just makes it a bit more enjoyable to watch I think.
I went for a safe bet with Uruguay though which didn't turn out too well...
70p up from the England game though! lol

Meh, I decided at the start I'd only put a fiver on maximum - put that all on Uruguay thinking it would be an easy game so lost that.
Now I'm on my second fiver and I'm not putting any more on after that, but I am being more conservative with my bets.
Doesn't really make any difference if I lose, and it just makes it more fun to watch which is all I'm bothered about.
Plus there's some pretty good odds going for trebles - If Switzerland, France and Argentina all win it's 18/5 (4.60) odds, and Switzerland should be the only close game out of those.
Just a bit of a game I guess seeing how far I can stretch my £5
