Bought an i7 950, now can't find any decent priced motherboards for it :(

Hi guys,
I have purchased an i7 950 for £75, does anyone know of where to get an affordable X58 motherboard from? I have looked on eBay etc... But the cheap ones are damaged, and the others are £110+.

Try looking on gumtree or a local paper for anyone who is selling as old pc.

but yea, I looked and you at £90 + buying online.

Doubt you will find a brand new or used one at a reasonable price.
Because they are not being made anymore, people will charge a premium seen as they are rare.

Best bet is to ask in for sale and wanted sections of forums, if you have access to any. Like Mathius said though, Gumtree is a good place to look as well.

Just keep an eye out of forums mate. One will turn up. On the local forums here in australia there are heaps come up every week or so. Keep positive, the 950 is a killer chip and you will have so much fun oc'ing the hell out of it.

Their X58 series is excellent. Best option is if you can find E770 Classified used or somewhere I don't know... Before few months they sell that model for I think 130$ new. Model with SATA III and USB 3.0. I think that is important things.

I've just got a 950 and a Rampage IIII Extreme but the board doesn't work and I bought it untested :-(
