Blow-hole cutting guide

Would it be possible to use a shroud or grill to use as a template for the holes?

heres what i mean

place that whereeveron the case oyu want your rad, drill your holes for the screws, then secure it using the screws and use it as a guide for utting the blowholes? as this is the only thing putting me off watercooling cutting such a big series of holes in the bottom of my stacker.

Hmmm, I don't think I would do it that way...

yea the round holes is exceptioanlly easy its just getting the radiator correctly in line once thats done i ca measure and find the correct area to drill the hoe for the fan.

I know i don't have as much experience as you guys do cutting stuff out (having only played around with one asetek and one custom setup with single 120mm rads) but I know my skills are bad enough to require the grills to go ontop to cover up any little messes - but at least you can do it really well! well done.

Other thing I saw mentioned was where the fans should go - I've generally found the quietest way with single radiators is to have them in the case sucking air from outside through the radiator. However, given that the fan on the asetek kit got some dust in the motor it doesn't always start so having it visible on the top is more practical. It would look great if you had a LED fan.

BTW, what are the best fans for water cooling (balance between noise and power)? silenx?
