Black frame, White blade fans.

I'm going to change cases to the black Bitfenix Prodigy case. I want some B&W fans for it, 120mm fans for the Corsair H100 all in one cpu cooler and then 140mm fans for the case cooling. The only fans of the size and style I require that I can seem to find are Fractal/NZXT/Gelid brands (Overclockers).

Can folks advise on which brand or mix would be best for a SB 2600k overclocked @ 4.2, so steady but not bleeding edge with noise level being a MAJOR factor in the choice. Not so bothered about leds with the B&W (might be ok with white led).

How about the Corsair AF/SP fans, should be 120 nad 140mil and are black with the white ring?

Performance and quietness are nice with the quiet-editions.

I care a lot about aesthetics myself, but why do you want fans with white blades in a case with no windows, were you can't see the fans?

As above it seems a bit strange to want Fans that specific when you will barely be able to see them.

I would look at getting scythe typhoons perhaps.

The typhoons have grey blades so not right. Does anybody know which of my choices are better for the rad and which are better for case flow.

I've got my eye on the Swiftech Helix at the moment - bit loud at 33dBA full whack, but with a fan controller or some reducers they should be okay.

Will let you know if I get them how they work and sound.

there are limited amount of manufacturers that produce fans in the combination.
Artic Cooling and Swiftech are about the only "performance" fans that i know of this
scheme.

to satisfy the scheme, you should look into a colort change for yourself. it's not
difficult and does not require professional help.

it is quite easy for fans. a lil patience, X-Acto knife, pocket screwdriver.

after researching a lot of time and comparisons, find the best fan and do a color change is
the best answer. due to the limited amount of performance fans and having a white blade assembly.

here are some for those Swiftech Helix 120 (only available in 120mm (at this time):

i'll see about making a guide on doing such a task.. there is already a similar guide
on how to "dye" your fan. but painting is similar and easy enough.

Thanks for your post airdeano, I knew B&W would look class and you proved it. Ru5ty those are good looking cheap fans but could you veryify where they are to be used, rads or case as I'm a bit hazy on the positioning re high air pressure / high air flow. Does high air flow even mean high pressure, do I want high flow over the radiator to quickly move heat and higher positive pressure for the case. If I'm reading (youtubing) to much into this and the margins for all this don't make big difference so I can buy just any fan then great.

first of all these r not cheap fans , it's bitfenix spectres and perform really well as case fans.
if u want the fans for cooling a radiator then high static pressure fans is what u need .
any fans with static pressure higher than 2-2.5 mmH2O will do the job.
get the Akasa Vipers. (2.98 mm H2O) or the corsair SPs and spray-paint the blades.

I've no idea how well they perform on a rad but I've got one on my noctua air cooler, and it's pretty quiet (the other noctua fan is keeping my folding rig cool)

the AF12PWM is quite a good little fan. the only issue i saw in a medium overclock
on a rs240 the high temperatures weren't falling as with the noctua or GT-15.
the PWM was great, but it lost some zing at the top of the temperature range.
id use them for a HSF cooler and maybe a 4.5 SB/IB overclock on a low vcore
over-volt. i hadnt had the chance to get the F14 yet, availability was not good
in the states a month or two ago.
