Bioshock, check this out.

OMG, that guy is so pathetic.

I have never believed in this super natural being "God".

And have been playing Bioshock and found it quite refreshing.

But this guy has gone way to far.

If someone curses, it doesn't matter if they do it over the phone, under their breath, etc. it's still cursing, and I assure you, they will have to give account for it one day.

One little thing I have never understood is that apperantly you cannot get into "heaven" if you have sinned..

But, I swear that is the reason "Jesus" came to earth. To take away our sins, therefore allowing anyone and everyone into "heaven".

Oh, I have nothing wrong with religion but I find it annoying when people make it affect other people. Get me? For example the war we are in now! ;)
 
Hmm i actualy took another approach on the matter. I believe this guy might be part of the Bioshock team trying to start up a flame war so people look at that crap instead of complaining about the actual game itself like technical flaws, driver issues and whatnot. Cause no mods are moderating that thread nor is it locked.

On the religion i personaly think the God and Jesus impersonaters are the funniest. I just look at it this way. With all the other religious people posting in that thread i think its the Christians and Catholics going at it the most. isnt it agaisnt their religion to try and push their opinion of the matter down others throats? The ones flaming on religion are a bunch of posers IMO.
 
I love the first guys arguement that playing games affects the way you think, so the fact that he was playing a 'first person shooter' genre game is going to affect him as well, never mind the religion side. Particularly valid on the day the Prime Minister decides he wants to combat violent games affecting kids. Personally I don't think that are people who can't distinguish between 'computer game' and reality they just use it as an excuse.

I am a christian and have no problem with this or any other game I just play them and don't dwell on any hidden agenda's, it a game.

and bioshock rules.

No way would they bother doing that. The game's got 200 times less issues than most games at release so your argument is moot

Im with you Kemp, I have yet to have any problems.. I can even minimize the game and bring it back up without any hint of a problem.

Have yet to see Bioshock crash. ;)
 
tbh at least he is supporting his views with some sort of opinion and constructive argument, which is more than can be said for 90% of the flamers/fanboys/haters/idiots on the internet.

however misguided or wrong his views may be, as far as i can tell (only read a few pages) he isnt flaming as such.

fair play to the guy. just because you guys don't believe in religion, why is that a reason to flame him? He is sporting a genuine argument on THE INTERNET (which is a place of free speech), and is merely expressing his views.

you may find that his mindset is in contrast with yours, but that doesn't demean him in any way.

As much as I hate to say it.. you are correct Mr Dave, but maybe a little mistake on his behalf.

I won't post anything like that on a developers forum.. you are seriously asking for it! ;)
 
Ive seen bioshock crash!...well the demo anyway lol. the bit where the flaming bench gets chucked down the stairs, i pressed esc to go to menu and boom it crashed.
 
OK he's posting his views but seriously if you don't like it, don't play it, which he quite obviously has.

He's being a hypocrite just playing FPS games if his views are that strong

He does later on in the thread when he comes back. But, i go by what Kemp said. If your views are so strong then why are you picking up a rated M game in the first place, let alone playing games altogether. But, lets not carry the argument to these forums becasue it wont fly. I was just merely posting the thread link for a good laugh on their behalf.
