Big Red Resurrection [Switch 810, RIVE, 3930k, Crossfire 7950's, Corsair EVERYTHING!]

It does look amazing Jeremy.

Have you thought about using something like the phobya fans:

They'd make it look even better.

Don't know if you're thinking of still putting blue in it, but I think that would ruin it. It looks great in Red and Black :)
I'm probably going to do either Bitfenix Spectre Pro fans, or paint the blades on some Scythe Gentle Typhoon's.

Installed the Corsair H100 with push-pull Scythe Gentle Typhoons.

Then I mounted the 2 140mm fans on the HDD cages (NZXT stock 140mm fans).

And two more fans on the front (Corsair SP120 Performance Editions).

Well i was just saying that my cpu temps are 5c better with the fans blowing out the top insted of in the top. Also internal case temps improved

Yeah, I was misreading this...

It's a lot better to have your fans exhausting out the top than sucking in...

Temps on the rad are better, but also you don't get all that hot air blowing back into the case

Not strictly true, having the fans intaking at the top is no worse than any other way,if it was Aircooled then i would tend to agree but for WC? Its not a problem.
All rads should be intaking for best performance, positive pressure is something you want as dust is less of an issue.

Well I doubt it will make a great deal of difference...

But having warm air through the H100 being sucked into the case with only 1 exhaust fan in the entire system will not be that good...
Not just talking about the CPU temps, but motherboard and GPU temps aren't going to benefit from this a great deal...

But again - I doubt it will make that much difference.

But positive pressure will expel the air thru gaps and vents as fast as it is pulled in when its up to pressure.
I have 14 intaking and one 120 fans as an exhaust on my rig,I definitely prefer positive pressure....

However,each to their own.

I agree 100%. Positive Pressure is the way to go. That is one of the main reasons i did the mod to the front panel on my Switch 810 for unrestricted airflow and added the 140mm fan in the bottom as a intake. It pulls more air in the case then the rad fans and 140mm on the back can exhaust. I have overclocked to 4.75Ghz on my 3820 and hotest i got was 62c while running prime. Avg cpu temps are 27c idle and 45c while gaming but the most intense games i play is GW2 and D3

Got the H100 block onto the 3930k.

And popped the two SSD's onto the mounts, and then put the mounts in the PC. I already have a Corsair Link, and two WD Black 1tb drives in there.

Now, it's time to run some cables. These are the sata cables plugged into the drives.

Plugged the 4 H100 fans into the Corsair Link Cooling Node.
