Man is that a Noiseblocker Eloop in there? Thought nobody knows them here.
I'm probably going to do either Bitfenix Spectre Pro fans, or paint the blades on some Scythe Gentle Typhoon's.It does look amazing Jeremy.
Have you thought about using something like the phobya fans:

They'd make it look even better.
Don't know if you're thinking of still putting blue in it, but I think that would ruin it. It looks great in Red and Black![]()

I know them , got some in my rig !
Dr. Rudolf Bannasch FTW !
Because it's what I had. The only fans I actually bought for this were the Gentle Typhoons. All others were fans I had from the previous system in this case.Nice! 1 Question - Why the SP's in the front?
I wanted to get fresh air into the CPU cooler. These chips get hot when overclocked, so I need every advantage I can get.Wondering why you have the H100 fans taking air in the top insted of pushing the heat out of the case. Just fyi your case will run hotter i tried it on mine

Yeah, I was misreading this...
It's a lot better to have your fans exhausting out the top than sucking in...
Temps on the rad are better, but also you don't get all that hot air blowing back into the case
Well I doubt it will make a great deal of difference...
But having warm air through the H100 being sucked into the case with only 1 exhaust fan in the entire system will not be that good...
Not just talking about the CPU temps, but motherboard and GPU temps aren't going to benefit from this a great deal...
But again - I doubt it will make that much difference.
I agree 100%. Positive Pressure is the way to go. That is one of the main reasons i did the mod to the front panel on my Switch 810 for unrestricted airflow and added the 140mm fan in the bottom as a intake. It pulls more air in the case then the rad fans and 140mm on the back can exhaust. I have overclocked to 4.75Ghz on my 3820 and hotest i got was 62c while running prime. Avg cpu temps are 27c idle and 45c while gaming but the most intense games i play is GW2 and D3But positive pressure will expel the air thru gaps and vents as fast as it is pulled in when its up to pressure.
I have 14 intaking and one 120 fans as an exhaust on my rig,I definitely prefer positive pressure....
However,each to their own.
