Big Red Resurrection [Switch 810, RIVE, 3930k, Crossfire 7950's, Corsair EVERYTHING!]

Guess what...? More wires!!!

Here's the 24 pin... I can't wait to get it sleeved, since it is discomforting the way it bends.

Here's the (not so) glamorous shot of all of the wires it takes to make this system work. Due to upcoming changes, I didn't bother to zip tie the cables up right now.

The somewhat finished product. I seem to have missed taking pictures of installing the GPU's and also plugging in quite a bit of wires... I suck at documenting things.

I would recommend to do it yourself .. corsairs kit has a good quallity but can't even touch costume sleeve ..

lol, custom is great but if it's your first time expect to re-do a lot of it. nice build, i like the reduced colour pallete.

I can't tell if that's sarcasm, or if you mean that the inside of the PC is nice. Because that back definitely isn't tidy.

Probably fully custom sleeving. I might even make some of my own wires.

Don't cut or create 6 pin atx cables yourself, there is a kind of static resistor inside it.

Which cables exactly? Do you mean the PCIe connectors? The only ones I think I'm gonna custom make are the Sata power cables.

I'd love to see where you got this information
Yeah... I was wondering that too, but I wasn't going to mention it. I know some PSU's have a little bead at the end to help power stability, but it can be removed if you want to... And there is no such thing on the AX1200i, or the AX850.

Having just sleeved a full set of PCI-Express cables on a 1300w psu.. I can see no such 'resistor' ?

The magnets on them(which are not on all psu's) are for noise/interferance reduction so far as I know but that's it? Is this what you're referring to?
