Still cannot get on a map

Is it the English version?

Just wondering because I bought the Russian version and I had to replace some some files to make it English but I put them in the wrong place at first and I was having the same problem you are having untill I put them in the right place.

Bit odd, game seems to be working fine for me on the whole. Every now and then I have to re-launch battlelog when it bugs out.

ive had it for 3 days now and have finished the single player campain on all 3 levels. i what to play MP but it just wont let me.

I had the same issue it was due to the update not installing it would not let me play anything so i did a full format re install and now everything works fine even ea couldn't help me, or just try re installing the game and see if that helps although re installing the game only didn't work for me it seems like there was some sort of conflict good luck as i know how frustrating it can be.

EA have had issues with activation/servers. Should be fixed really soon. Ive installed it myself now, and going to play it tonight.

Have you tried right clicking BF3 in Origin and select repair?

I had problems when I first installed the game also

Had to run the date check thing 5 times, rebooted twice but it finally worked.

I found this posted on another forum:

Stuck on Joining Server / Long map load times:

Cause: Bug with x64 OS

Fix: Open / Run regedit.

Navigate to: HKEY LOCAL MACHINE/SOFTWARE/WoW6432Node/EA Games

Change the GDFBinary & InstallDir paths to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 3

Try to launch the game and join game servers, and it should work.

Not sure if that helps, I also noticed a few people said they fixed connection problems by disabling upnp on their routers.

That registry problem was there in the BETA also

I've had a few issues with the MP, but since manually updating Punk Buster it seems to be ok! *crosses fingers!*

Cant play campaign or MP

They should fix this by now.. This is becoming typical when new games are released.

Trying to re-install it and update PB. Have no hope that it will be fixed by this, and il probably just have to wait until they launch patches for the game.

I actually could play the campaign after the re-installation. Lovely game

Yeah you should. It would be really fun to play togetter online.

Im runing it with a 4870x2, but the fps isnt very good(20-30), and that on medium settings. Im hoping i can play at high with my 2x 5870's and with 50-70fps. I might upgrade my gpu's sooner then i planed to do.

I've not had any problems. I installed it yesterday and starting playing the SP.. That was perfect then I started playing MP about an hour later and that also worked perfectly.. Even on my 4870 at low graphics I was getting 40+ fps!
