best cooling for x1950

Hi

sorry if this has been covered before, I did look...

I'm looking for the best cooling option for an X1950 (wish is was mine but it's a friends) any personal recommendations for something that'll keep it cool and not too noisy?

Thermalright HR-03! no doubt.

Honestly, I wouldnt take anything that doesnt remove heat in a way that doesnt recirculate it inside the case. In that way the Accelero's are rather crappy, the Zalman circular ones if you build a shroud and fan setup would be rather good, and the HR is meh.

Yet you can clearly see that the Thermalright HR-03 has an advantage.

Also, it can be mounted in all kind of ways.
 
Since video cards in cases are generally horizontal, this heatsink would really be best in a BTX system, otherwise the heat if used passively stays, and if uses with a fan really only circulates it back and such.

It would on the other hand, be quite easy to duct.,
