I got a 200 MB download 20 mb upload line installed in my house but I never see anymore than a 20 MB download speed how do the internet come up with the 200 mb figure ? And I know it say up to but it not even close

normally it's worked megabits (mb) which works to 20 megabytes ( MB )

20Mb is about right. Works out around 2.5- 2.8MB/s

Yes 200Mb (megabit) should get you a theoretical maximum download speed of 25.6MB (megabyte) per second

(200 x 1024) / 8 Gives you the speed from Mb to MB

Run a test on http://www.speedtest.net and post the result here. Just to quell any confusions.

Thank you I get it on the speed test was just wondering why I ever see it over the any downloads . Silly me
