Any tips for writing my resume? Sales in a tech retailer

I don't have any experience, and I'm not sure what I should write, how much should I write.. It's a lot easier to do it in person, but I need to send an attractive resume first.. How do I start? Any important bullet points?
I really suck at these type of things..

Should I include my hobbies? My past at FRC (highscooler's robotics competition)? Volunteering at a school as a math teacher? The fact that I go to tech forums like this one?
FRC is the most teamwork intesive thing I ever did, and volunteering as a teacher might show that I'm good with people, I don't know.

Should I mention I visit the site pcpartpicker very often? forums? r/pcmasterrace ? Tech news sites? ANADNTECH? do they matter?

Also, how do I tell them about my skills and knowledge without making it sound cocky and showoff?

Of course you should mention that you visit hardware enthusiast sites!
Only thing you should really boast about is how much you like techy things, the other skills you have you should be more typical and formal without too much exaggeration
Most sales guys in retail shops I've encountered are total n00bs

thanks, most of the sales people there, are just like me, tech enthusiasts and gamers.. very nice people..

When it gets a basic form (alpha version if you will) I will translate it to english and you can tell me how bad my writing skills are.. I'm really bad at writing about myself..
I really don't want to screw this up..

Can't hurt to mention that computers are a hobby of yours and you spend your spare time building them, visiting tech forums and news sites and that you enjoy learning (about computers).

In a possible interview itself, keep yourself from brabbling on about how much you know. Wait until they ask the question and then reply with a nice, but elaborate answer.

Also, it's great to show them that you know about terms like Hyperthreading, Raid 0 and quad channel memory but to a customer these mean nothing, so don't use them too much cause then they'll think that you would use these on the job as well and make things unnecessarily complicated for the customer.

Good luck matey :)

These are things I should mention in the resume? or just in the interview (if I get lucky)

First sentence was about the resume, the two last bits of text were about an interview.

Remember that a resume is not a letter, that's what... motivation letters are for.
A resume is really just a short overview about you personally (name, contact details etc) and your education, skills and even hobbies that might be relevant to the job.

Obviously, if you were applying as a waiter, you don't need to mention that you visit computer forums cause no one would care, but in this case it could really set you apart from the other applicants :)

Here is a quick (and bad) translation of my resume (alpha) to english
I hope I won't screw it up..
I will format it as PDF..
I'm trying to balance it..

Hello, My name is Eyal ****. *** highschool graduate . I would like to work in KSP sales role. I have knowledge in technology (the kind of person you can talk to for hours about many fields in technology, gaming, computers, and some comic books). I Like to help and give advices to people at technology in general and computers in particular. I'm also a regular customer, the last 4 computers I bought was in KSP. I participated in the project FRC (Robotics Competition Teams high school students, very intense and fun), I volunteered at the Democratic School *** at *** city as a math teacher. I regularly help people choose what to buy (CPU, video card, how much memory ..) and convincing people to buy a gaming PC instead of consoles, even people I know personally and to strangers online. I used to visit many sites in the fields of computers, smartphones and Technology .. sites like: anandtech, arstechnica, techpowerup, pcpartpicker, overclock3d, teksyndicate, linustechtips, GPUboss.

Thank you for your consideration.

Seems like just an application, not really a resume. As an application it'll probably be fine though. Just be yourself and all should go well.

I didn't know there's a difference between an application and a resume..
Thanks!

I hope that will be enough to stand out from the crowd..
I will polish some things and send it..

a resume needs to be ideally 1 page. if 2 it should be on two separate pages, what job are you applying for. You should obviously have your normal contact info at the top woking down to education then work exp. then a small mention about things like your Team work thing but be brief if you write to much they will literally just bin it.

Thanks, I will keep that in mind next time I need to write a resume..

Also you need to include a chronological list from now till senior school listing where you was they dont want gaps. Even if unemployed you need to mention it

Proper Resume should have cover letters so he is on the right track. But you must keep it formal and use keywords

(the kind of person you can talk to for hours about many fields in technology, gaming, computers, and some comic books)

I wouldn't use this. Better to mention something like
"I can discuss technology in depth in many key areas such as...."

They may be a friendly group of people, but you still have to be polite and formal. You can show your personality more during the interview.

Hello, My name is Eyal ****. *** highschool graduate . I am interested in seeking a role in your KSP sales department. I have in depth knowledge in technology areas such as hardware, software, gaming components and peripherals. I am a keen team member and enjoy assisting others with advice on technology in general, particularly personal computers. I participated in the project FRC (Robotics Competition Teams high school students, very intense and fun), I volunteered at the Democratic School *** at *** city as a math teacher. I regularly help people choose what to buy based on their budget and requirements, and often convince people to purchase gaming computers instead of consoles. I regularly browse many sites in the fields of computers, smartphones and Technology such as: anandtech, arstechnica, and techpowerup.

Just a 5mins quick example, but you get the idea I hope.

Also a big big BIG factor is that you must know about the company you apply for. How long they have been established, their achievements and goals, etc. It proves you are interested in them and not giving some BS letter praying "some company" hires you.

But like I mentioned, you should at a good cover letter too.

Well if its sent. Good luck. I suggest you read up on the company if its the one you really want. Impress them with your knowledge that you are interested in them.

In the interview if they ask "what do you know about us" then you can really shine. Maybe throw in some awards they have won in previous years if any, etc
