Anime Thread

i started watching an anime an now i cant rememvber what it was called, or anything about it -_- *brain fail*
 
btw happy b day saturday i went to a japanese restaurant that day :o had something big te celebrate. i watched nana and loved it so much i decided to read the manga aswell it's a slice of life / drama wouldn't recommend it tough it's not for everyone. atm i'm watching Shinsekai Yori and i can see why it's ranked so high on allot of websites, deep story great soundtracks, art, setting.
 
Cool, didn't know crunchyroll also had an android App... Apparently so does my VPN which means I can watch Anime even on my phone :D

@DeViLzzz There's no reason to hate it.
I had a bad first impression also, but when you overcome that, there's some fun to be had.
 
I don't think you'll regret subscribing there.
I think it's amazing that I can pay my Crunchyroll subscription with bitcoins ;)

I would've used PayPal normally, but PayPal doesn't allow for recurring payments on Crunchyroll for some reason (at least for German users).

Currently watching something "Brynhildr in the Darkness".
It's so-so. There's some sad backstory, sad moments, but there are some major plotholes and characters act stupidly sometimes. Also at least on Crunchyroll it's heavily censored (No nudity, and not even gore). I've seen gore on Crunchy before, so I'm not sure if Crunchy is being extra strict here or if this is by choice of the creators.

Finished Brynhildr.. Well it wasn't bad per say. It's definitely a way to pass time. I've started watching Bleach now. Seems like a lot of fun as far as I can say, I'm at episode 19 currently, so only 300+ to go ;)

Edit2: Episode 46 now... Bleach is quite interesting :) Good humor.
On another note: My Amazon Kindle just arrived -> reading LNs will be much less of a pain now! Don't even have to turn on my PC anymore, neither to read LNs or watch Anime! This is great, will save me a lot of electricity ;)

Edit3: Episode 6x somewhat now... Had a lot of fun until now. Also I know where Permafrosts avatar is from, now ;)

Edit4: Episode 69 it is. This thread has grown silent... I'll finish Bleach this Weekend I guess

I'm not a big anime fan, but yesterday i saw a new mecha anime torrent. It was the Appleseed Alpha. After i checkd it's background downloaded the 2004 version too and watched them. It was a really good surprise i like them both. So if someone is looking for something like this i can suggest it :)
 
After a much longer time than I expected I finally finished watching Bleach (well the Series. Have yet to watch the movies).

I enjoyed it a lot.
 
The first Bleach movie was nowhere near as good as the series... Who in the name of the gods wrote that story?
The second movie was better...

Is it only me or are other people also annoyed with these constant pauses when they fight? Constantly talking or waiting for some deus ex machina or something... Also they never seem to check if their enemies are dead, and they never make sure (double tap and the likes: when in doubt: pierce the heart, destroy the brain)... Oh well, guess this can't be helped...
