Just connected up my Audigy 2 and Logitech Z680s - it has been almost a religious experience - they are fan-dabba-dozy as The Crankies would say. Can't wait to 'Let em rip' tomorrow!
I can get the rear speakers behind me, but it is a wooden floor and the missus doesnt like wires all over, so I will spend some time at Xmas arranging things properly

What I did was take HER shopping and let HER pick out a nice throw type rug to hide the speaker wires under. Now she's happy and so am I. Remember guys..."If Momma's not happy....no one is happy!"
daz m8 - when u gonna get the hang of these quotes
I aint got no games yet, but the demo discs where awesome. The subwoofer is the size of a small microwave I had to move it away from the monitor cos its magnet was deflecting the electron beams are screwing the colours
On a related point, the cable from the sound card to the controller is too short for my present set up. It is a triple 3.5mm stereo jack to jack colour-coded yellow, black & green. Anyone know where I can obtain longer ones?
You can just use single 3.5mm jack to jack leads mate. Maplin do em i think. I had the same problem but because I play guitar i have 3 guitar leads with adaptors on the ends for mine lol. It's very bodged but works
thanks boardy m8, just ordered 3 off hi qual 3m stereo jack to jack 3.5mm @ £1.46 each from CPC (a Farnell offshoot). Specialist dealers were after £4.99 each !
I bought some 250D's from eBay really cheap (Creative 2.1 THX speaker kit) the idea was to sell them on and make a lil bit of money, anyway thought screw it, i wanna try them out on my audigy 2
3 months n and they are still on my desk plugged in, these 2.1's are better than any non 5.1 THX system ive used, as such these are staying where they are still I get the time to replace them with some Z680's
