AM4 Strix difference

Hey guys,

I'm all out on this one at this point, can anyone please explain to me what the difference is between the ASUS ROG STRIX B350-I motherboard and it's brother the X370-I?...

Cause aesthetic and functions wise, they look identical. Same layout, same number of back ports etc etc.

I read on an another forum that spec wise they are exactly the same, the only thing that difference them apart is the chipset. Then I'm wondering what the difference in chipset is really? SLI support? As that seems pretty pointless and dumb to be honest in/on an ITX board.

The other advantages between chipset can also be things like extra sata support or extra M.2 support or the like or extra PCIE lanes that can help if you want to run say a soundcard or even a PCIE SDD it just depends on what the company that make the board decides to assign them to
