AF140/120 or Silverstone AP123

Hi there,

I'm looking for some fans for front intake in my Carbide 500r.

I'm thinking of either AF140s or the Silverstone AP123, since I have SP120s on my H100i and have nothing to complain about them, I thought about AF140s in my case, since that's the easy choice and they come as a twin pack. (Also, would you recommend 120mm or 140mm?)

Or I could choose for the AP123 from Silverstone.

What do you guys think? I know the Noctua NF-F12 are the best choice, and I would choose them if they weren't so unbelievably ugly with my black case :p

If you like the current look of your SP120s then by all means get the AF140s to keep the design similar.

As for 140 vs 120, if you aren't running a radiator then 140 would be the way to go this time, bigger fan, moves more air and should be quieter too. main debate about fans really relates to radiators and that there are not many good radiator fans at 140mm sizes.

I use the Silverstone AP121s and they're great fans. I'd probably recommend looking into the AP141s from Silverstone if you can fit them?

I'd personally go for the AP121s over the 123s as I prefer the chrome and LED options of the 121s.
