Acceptable usernames?

Being new I cannot PM any admin so I am posting here in hopes that an admin or mod can address in a PM.

My user name on various boards is Snafu. Here however, I cannot use this name as it is not acceptable.

Would it be possible for you to change my user name to my usual handle; Snafu?

Please send me a PM and delete this thread.

I did try to see if I had an account here but it would not let me search the member list until I registered. My mistake since I should have tried my standard name.

No, not quite 3 years. More like 1 year 10 months. I had some maths fail.

LOL - now that is some serious math issues - LOL

I should ask to have the accounts merged so there is less clutter in the member list (I have done the same for others).

Now I just need to figure out teh PM thingy here or perhaps wait until the required 15 posts (you guys must have been hit bad with spammers too - scum of the earth that they are)

Well I worked it out properly, then my helpful brain added "but we've just started a new year, add one on." So I did.

Indeed you will have to wait until the post limit. Yes, we've had a lot of crap from a lot of spammers. You also can't post links and a few other things. 15 posts comes quikly on this forum if you like tech stuff.
