Thank you for opening this build log and welcome! My name is Greg and I'm new here so best to make a good impression!
I'm currently building my second ever pc and my first water cooled pc. I'm going to do a proper video build log for each bit (mostly because my girlfriend wants to understand everything), but I also thought I'd do a traditional picture community discussion one as well.

Here is a list of everything I have at the minute and I'm missing the 900D case, a 360 rad and some fittings. Please criticize constructively and help me build a better build! Since posting here I have changed my green led fans, power supply and fittings! Can't wait to finish this build! oh and one last thing. Any names spring to mind for a Green and Black 900D build?

Specs:
I7 2600k OC hopefully a 4.6ghz
GTX 690
G1 sniper 3 Mobo
RAM TBC
256gb m4 ssd
3tb seagate barracuda
2 3D vision 2 glasses
Asus VG278 monitor
Razer Deathadder 2013 mouse
Goliath extended mat
900D case (keeps getting postponed due to shipping problems, so sadly i might not get it till June.
Ax860 with Corsair Green Sleeved Cables.

Watercooling:
Phobya 250 res
XSPX 480 radiator
4 sickleflow green led 120s (will go in the bottom compartment)
360 radiator (want a large 60mm one for the top mount)
6 sp 120s performance editions
Ek supremcy nickel plexi waterblock
EK-FC690 GTX nickel plexi waterblock
3 litres of mayhems x1
Mayhems green UV dye
Alphacool D5 vario (VPP655)
Alphacool H5 pump top
Phobya 3 pin to 4* 3 pin connectors.
Some Bitfenix alchemy uv strips.

I got my parts from different places including Amazon, Ebay, Yoyotech, Scan, CandCcentral.

My youtube channel is http://www.youtube.com/thegreyedits where I will upload the video log explaining all the parts what they do and building my pc :) I'll also do a conclusion and what I could have done better section!

Once again, thank you!

900D ARRIVED!
SEE IMAGES :D
Will watercool as soon as I can afford fittings!

Girlfriend is in the box.

Updated 19/7/13
Did the water cooling and its been running for over 2 weeks thought it was time to update everything! see images at the bottom!

What would I do better?
Not click buy on ebay without checking it was the right sized fittings.... Ordering Dominator rams soon, I sold my vengeance ram and using some crummy 1330hz corsair ones atm! Bring it up to 1/2 inch and bigger tubing! also change the sickle flows even if they are running on 7 volts to bitfenix spectre pros! Make the length of the tubing shorter, and I think maybe theme the build into a forest looking build by spray painting the back green and black (with different tones and filling it with fake fauna! thoughts on that?? :D At the minute I've name it AfterEight.

Fully watercooled.

Changing these fans asap. Even when running at 7 volts they aren't very good at passing air through.

Maybe think about different fans to the Sickleflows, as they're very loud for what they are. Especially in the bottom compartment as you won't be able to see them, it'd be better to have something like Noctua, or Scythe GT... Or SP120s since you're using them anyway.

1/2inch fittings with 7/16 tubing is what we tend to suggest on here. As it's a tight fit so isn't going to come off, therefore you don't need any clamps.

The reasons i wanted those sickleflows is because they have green LEDs and i have voltage reducers so that they don't have to be loud. And I could have sword the bottom compartment of the 900D was mesh if you take off the panel? If not i've just wasted 25 quid XD.

I'll need to get rid of my fittings then and get those! thanks for the advice!

Voltage resistors will make them quieter yes - but it doesn't get round the fact that they aren't good fans to begin with. They don't shift a massive amount of air for the amount of noise they produce, and using voltage resistors won't exactly improve that.
I'm assuming they'll be on a radiator? If so, you'll most likely need a fan with high static pressure, which the Sickelflows aren't.

You may be right about the mesh, I'm not sure. I've not had a proper look at the 900D yet tbh.

Maybe look at Silverstone AP121 as you can get them with Green LEDs. If not, maybe the Bitfenix Spectre/Spectre Pros. Can't think of any more that would be suitable for radiator use with green LEDs.

yes the 4 sickleflows will be on the quad radiator. you're right I should have gone with some bitfenix spectres.. but do you think that they're SO bad that they're not worth putting on a quad radiator at all? So bad that I should change them? If I find out that the 900D doesn't have a visibile bottom rad compartment then I'll go for better fans some noctuas maybe.. Pictures are up if you're interested! :)

looks like mesh? maybe it's photoshopped but I doubt it?

Ahh right. I think I'd rather have the side panel on tbh. Looks a bit funny with it off IMO.

I personally would change the fans tbh. Considering how much you'll have spent on this build - I'm guessing over £2000? Spending another £50 on fans isn't really much IMO. You can sell the Sickleflows easily enough.

I'm keeping the window on but I like that you'll be able to see the LEDS of the fan through the mesh :) Everyone's different! I can understand where you're coming from though. I've spent a bit over that. And yeah £50 on fans isn't much you're right. Might try and sell them on ebay.

Yes, please change out those Sickle Flows for some SP120 quiet editions. You'll thank us in the long run . The CM fans are way too bloody loud for what they are, and they aren't great for use on a rad. I had some on my CPU cooler and it sounded like a jet was taking off when I turned my computer on. Also, if you want the rig to light up green, just buy an LED kit like the NZXT one.

i wanted green leds fans so that the bottom would glow green through the mesh I don't think an led kit would do the job between the mesh and the fans. I'll try and sell them off and get bitfenix ones? it's the look i'm trying to go for and to be honest the top 6 sp120s through the 60mm rad at the top will do a good enough job because the water will move about so fast? Am I wrong? As long as the sound doesn't continue to sound like a plane 3 minutes in from the boot up I think I can live with it? Thanks for the comment though! Uber appreciated! :D

Silverstone AP121 i recommend them mate there quiet an come with voltage regulators, an push a far amount of air

The Bitfenix Spectre/Spectre Pros should be fine. The Sickle Flows do continue to sound like a dang 747 flying through the house well after initial boot up. I had to change them like the day after building my system they were so loud.

How did you get rid of them?

How did I get rid of the fans? I put the stock fans the cooler came with back on, and they're still on now. Quiet as a church mouse and perform really well. (I get around 40 C on a 3.87 GHz OC, AMD FX 8150)

Hahaha, no what I meant was did you burn them in a fire? Sell them?

me when i read the name of the thread =>
