7800 GTX actually worth the money ?

ok, so im purchasing 2 x 7800GTX ( together ) and i was wondering if it is actually worth the cash, i know people say that the 7800 gtx is a "monster" but actaully what does it do better than other GFX cards ? any advice is welcome :worship:

its the best of the best at the moment, but the nvidia drivers are still lacking as far sli (2x) re concerned. maybe consider buying just one at the moment and see how that goes.

Yep, indeed the drivers are pretty screwed up, but you can get good performance on certains games and bad on others ATM. On CSS, I get 230FPS and on Flight Simulator I get 1-20

You could save yourself a heck of a lot of money and pick up a pair of 6800GT's and then rock the socks off of a pair of 7800GTX's hehe

To be safe I'd go with the 7800's as nVidia is bound to pull their heads out of their asses soon enough and fix all of the driver issues which are crippling SLI'd 7 series cards.
