4gb ReaperX pc2-8000 overclocking time!

Have overclockers done me over?

Its come today

Just thinking about installation time -

1) Reset bios

2) What timings will I want to start at?

3) Set voltage to 2.15v

4) Start upping the FSB (start at lowest boot strap, find cpu limit, then up a big if needed)

Will I need to follow that guide on OCZ forums for my p5b deluxe?

edit: Just noticed in cpu-z these are showing as pc2-6400 not pc2-8000. plus at 400mhz max bandwidth????

I will keep an eye on this thread as I’m thinking will it be an upgrade going from the Ballistix 4 x 1gb pc8500 to these or more of a side step?

Just noticed in cpu-z these are showing as pc2-6400 not pc2-8000. plus at 400mhz max bandwidth????

Have they sent me the wrong ram??

Might be the motherboard...
