Right well I'm going to go home now and plug my router in. I moved house last week and my ADSL order is in progress, due to go live on Friday, so I doubt I'll be fragging until then.

But I will go home and connect myself up, cos you never know

I agree IDNet ftw, pitty im not with them atm (lack of funds). They got me up and running in 4 working days Ins, so fingers crossed u will be here soon!

Hmmm did you already have ADSL and they switched you over, or was it a new broadband order (i.e. did BT have to come and fiddle with the wires at your exchange?).

Mine is a new order you see as the previous people that owned the house had cable installed and I wanted to go with IDnet.

Can't wait to get online now! I've managed to "borrow" someones internet because they haven't managed to turn on their wireless security...oops

It was a new order, but I dont know what the people before us had. We got BT to sort the line out, then ordered internet from IDNet and bam, 4 working days later we were on.

Ooooh....

Well I received an email from IDnet last Friday (17th) at 3pm saying that my "broadband order had been successfully submitted and should be activated by 6pm on 25th Aug 2007".

If I take last Friday as a "working day", then it might be up and running today!

You never know lol!! Still even if it's not working, it'll only be a couple more days until it is
