2 Systems 1 Loop

ive been a bit too busy to update. I built the barebones of the folder and tok pics.

my order finally arrived (fittings, rad etc for folder) and i assembled most of it tonight.

my damn drill ran out of juice so I'll be finishing tomorrow night and doing a quick pic update. ill elaborate at a later date because I have something important to be doing atm

Looking forward to it!
And as I said, you really have a great reason to fold, and my condolences to your family! Must be really harsh to talk to a relative and she won't even recognize you. I wish you the best of luck with it for the coming period and my thoughts are with your nan.

Update.

folding rig is up and running, completed it's first work unit last night and will finish the second tonight probably. May look into undervolting the processor but atm it's not a priority.

Running the D5 on 5 for now to slowly weed out and last dregs of trapped air. The R4 adequately muffles the noise so I can sleep! The main rig is all plumbed in (obviously) and flowing, but not operational as I need to cable it all up. TBH I'm at a loss as to how to do it as the RV02 has very little room for cable management. Might have to spend a good few hours doing cable management and I don't have time atm.

Active cooling is 60mm thick alphacool all copper with 2x noiseblocker e-loop B12-2 @ 5v and a noisblocker multi-frame @ 5v, coolant is distilled with mayhems XT-1 concentrate additive. Max temp @ 100% load has been core #0 @ 43c, cores #2 and #3 haven't gone higher than 36c :).

I have pics of the hardware before going in and will take pics of the system when I have free time.

Power usage at full whack atm is 60W! :)

Edit, my PPD is averaging around 13k.

I will post more pics up of the folding rig an the main rig tomorrow but for now, spot my silly late-night mistake: (free internetz to the first person to spot it)

Inorite.

I didn't even make that mistake when I *first* did them, IDK how I managed to do it now. Booted windows and my first gpu was idling hotter than it gets at full load on water rofl

Power supply round the wrong way? (ducks for cover!)

I must say, that motherboard does look nice in that case. Probably a contender if I upgrade to Z87 (or whatever) in the future.
