1st time overclocking

been playing around with my cpu and gpu last couple of days, newbie question, do you have to set the overclocks everytime you boot the pc or am i missing something as when i reboot its back to default.

you sure the overclock was successful in the first place? normally when the clock isnt stable the motherboard will reset to defaults

When you set the settings in the BIOS you are saving and exiting and not just exiting aren't you?

Your settings should stay how you set them if you have saved them.

Are you using AMD overdrive in Windows ? If you are, you need to do it through BIOS : P
